Year

Major or program

Discord username

So staff can reach you on the day.

Phone number

Only for the day of the event — never shared.

Your work

Show us what you'd bring. We look at the work itself (craft, originality), how it fits the event, and a good mix across the alley.

Artist or shop name *

How you'll be listed. Your own name is fine.

About your work *

2–3 sentences. If you're accepted and opt in, it's shown on the event's Artist Alley page.

Links to your work *

One per line, up to 5: Instagram, a portfolio site, Linktree, a Google Drive folder set so anyone with the link can view. Show 6–10 pieces like the ones you'd bring.

Process work

Optional — links to sketches, line art, a work-in-progress or a timelapse. It's how we tell hand-made work from AI.

What you'll bring *

How much of it is fan art? *

Most of your items cost

Have you sold at an event before?

Your table

A table is a 6-ft table and 2 chairs (a half table is 3 ft and 1 chair).

A photo of a past table, or a mock-up of your set-up

Optional — a link (Instagram post, Google Drive image…). It helps us plan the alley.

What you'll need

Selling at this event

No table fee, and Niner Esports never handles money for artists. You take payment at your table — bring change and a card reader or payment-app code. If you sell at events in North Carolina you should have a free NC sales tax certificate — you can add its number when you confirm your table.

Your shop or store page

Optional — for your table card.

How will you take payment?

NC sales tax certificate number, if you have one

Free from the NC Department of Revenue (ncdor.gov). Don't have one yet? You can add it when you confirm your table.

If I'm accepted, list me on the event's public Artist Alley page (my artist name, blurb and links)

Artist Alley agreement

Niner Esports is a registered UNC Charlotte student organization. Tick each line to apply. Breaking these can mean losing your table on the day — and not getting one next time.

1.I'm a currently enrolled UNC Charlotte student, I'm 18 or older, and I'll show my student ID when I check in.
2.Everything at my table is my own work — original art, or fan art I made myself. No AI-generated or AI-assisted work, no tracing, no bootlegs or official art, and no resold merch. I'll show process work (sketches, line art, work in progress) if asked.
3.Everything I show or sell is suitable for all ages: no nudity or sexual content, graphic gore, or hate symbols.
4.I'll sell only the way this event allows, as described in the form. Niner Esports charges no table fee and never handles money for artists: my sales, payments and any sales tax are my own responsibility (in North Carolina that includes a free sales tax certificate).
5.No raffles, no free gifts that need a purchase, no food or drink sales, and nothing the Student Union bans: weapons or realistic replicas, candles or open flame, fog or smoke machines, glitter, confetti, or straw and other dry plant material.
6.At most two people behind my table. I'll stay inside my space, keep walkways clear and the volume low, and I won't call out to people walking by.
7.I'll follow the UNC Charlotte Code of Student Responsibility, the Student Union's rules and the Niner Esports staff on the day, including set-up and pack-up times. If I'm not set up 30 minutes after doors open and haven't told the organizers, my table may go to someone on the waitlist.
8.I'm responsible for my work and belongings: Niner Esports and UNC Charlotte aren't liable for loss, theft or damage, and don't insure artists' goods. If my plans change I'll withdraw from my status page as early as I can.
9.Niner Esports may photograph and film the event, including the Artist Alley, for its website and socials.
