Pitch a panel

Your panel

Halloween Union LAN PartySaturday, October 31, 202610:00 AM – 7:00 PMPopp Martin Student Union

Have a talk, panel or workshop you'd love to run? Anyone can pitch one — students, clubs, faculty and creators. Tell us what it's about, a short bio for the schedule, and what you'll need in the room. It takes about five minutes. Every panel is 45 minutes, including Q&A. We hold a full hour for each one, so there's time to set up and sort out any tech hiccups. After the form closes, we read every pitch and email you either way — accepted panels get a time and a room on the schedule.

Please send it by Oct 23, 4:00 PM

You

Your time and room go here.

About you

Leave blank if it's just you.

1–3 sentences, for the schedule.

One per line: name — affiliation (up to 4).

Under-18 presenters are welcome with a parent's or guardian's OK; UNC Charlotte's youth protection rules apply and we'll follow up.

One per line: your website, socials, a past talk.

Only for the day of the event — never shared.

Your panel

Up to 60 characters.

What attendees read: 1–3 sentences, up to 300 characters.

For the organizers only: audience participation, a demo, a giveaway, anything we can set up for you.

Time & tech

Your panel is 45 minutes, including Q&A. We hold a full hour for it, so there's time to set up and sort out any tech hiccups. The panel room has a projector with HDMI, a mic, and sound from a laptop. Bring your own adapter (USB-C → HDMI) if your laptop needs one.

In person is best — the room is more fun with you in it. If you can't make it to campus, we'll put you on the big screen with someone from our team in the room for Q&A.

When could you present? *

The event runs Sat, Oct 31, 10 AM–7 PM. Leave it on the whole event if any time works, or narrow it to when you're free — we'll fit your panel in.
